Phone Number Usage Policy
At OnGuard, we take your privacy seriously, especially when it comes to sensitive information like your phone number. We want to be transparent about how and why we use your phone number when you sign up for our service.
Limited, Critical Use Only: Your phone number will only be used for essential, event-based communication. Specifically, we will use it to:
Send you critical MMS or phone call notifications when a panic alert is triggered by a lone worker.
Automatically connect you with your coworkers via voice call during an emergency, ensuring swift and effective response.
Provide two-factor authentication (2FA) if you choose to enable it for added security. 2FA is optional and not enabled by default.
No Marketing Communications: We will never use your phone number to send marketing messages, promotions, or any non-essential communications.
Never Shared or Sold: We respect your privacy and will never share, sell, or otherwise disclose your phone number to any third parties.
Post-Trial Use: If you decide not to continue with OnGuard after your free trial, we will stop using your phone number. It will be removed from our active systems once your trial is cancelled or discontinued. We will not retain or use your phone number for any purpose after your trial ends.
