Creating Life Check Zones in the app
This article explains how to create Life Check Zones in the OnGuard application.
What are Life Check Zones?
When users enter a Life Check Zone, they will be enrolled into Life Check Mode which means they will have to provide a Life Check (a proof of life) after a regular interval. The default interval is set to 30 mins. Check out this knowledge base article on how to configure Life Check Intervals. Users should be enrolled into Life Check mode when working alone or in small groups on tasks with an associated risk. When the interval expires without the user providing a Life Check, an Emergency Alert will automatically be triggered.
When users exit the Life Check Zone they automatically get enrolled into safe mode (green). This automated process shall prevent workers to forget enrolling themselves into Life Check Mode creating a potential scenario of non-compliance.
